Tincture Making 101

This isn't just theory—you'll create your very own tincture to take home, along with reference materials to guide your future herbal crafting adventures. By the end of this session, you'll have both the knowledge and confidence to continue making herbal tinctures at home. 

Kitchen Herbalism

Let food be your medicine and your medicine be your food!

Join us for a fun and delicious day of herbal exploration in the RiverSong herb kitchen. Make and sample tasty herbal creations while learning about the healing properties of some common foods and medicinal herbs.

Throughout the workshop, create (and taste!) delicious, healing recipes. You'll take home samples of our flavorful creations along with recipes for building your own kitchen apothecary. 

 
 
 
 
 

About the Instructor

Lea Clayton, LMBT, BCPP is a clinical herbalist, an NC licensed massage & bodywork therapist & a board certified Polarity Therapist (LMBT#5134, BCPP.) She has been in bodywork practice since 2004 & clinical herb practice since 2018. She began her herbalism education in 2003 as an apprentice to local wise woman herbalist Suki Roth and has completed a 4-year clinical herbal training with David Winston, Registered Herbalist AHG.

As an herbalist she both consults individually and offers group classes in botanical medicine.  She grows and wildcrafts herbs, makes medicine and maintains a small (but awesome!) herbal dispensary at RiverSong Farm, her home in Saxapahaw.
