Listening to the Plants - a One-Day Herbal Retreat
An immersive day of herbalism, embodiment & connection
Saturday, May 9th 9:30 AM - 4 PM
RiverSong Farm, Saxapahaw NC
Cost: $120 + $10 materials fee
Spend a day in relationship with two herbal allies—plants you may not yet know or think you know, plants that are incredibly multidimensional and wise.
Between the two herbs, they support the gut lining, uplift the spirit, cool and regulate the body (perfect for summer!), settle the nervous system, open intuition, and so much more.
Through a range of experiences, we’ll move beyond surface-level associations into genuine familiarity. This is both a learning space and a retreat space—a place to receive as much as to learn.
Together, we’ll slow down enough to perceive, feel, and receive directly from the plants through:
Sensory exploration and tasting
Observation in the garden or wild (as available)
Meditation and gentle, embodied movement
Simple, hands-on herbal medicine making (you’ll bring home 2 different remedies that we make together.)
By the end of the day, we hope folks will leave with not just information—but also a felt relationship with two plants you can return to again and again, along with practical ways to work with them in everyday life.
Limited space! Past workshops have sold out, so register early:
